Just outside the nearby town of Thabazimbi you will find the Marakele Animal Sanctuary. They have a wide variety of predators and small animals. Their unique lion mobile is an experience not to be missed.
Marakele National Park
The Marakele National Parks belongs to South African National Parks Board (SANPARKS). The park is situated less than an hour drive from Bellevue Hunting Lodge. Marakele is home to the Big 5 of the animal kingdom as well as Wild dog and Spotted Hyena. Vissits to the park can be arranged.
